Ingredients
- 2 countLarge bell peppers
- 0.5 cupPizza sauce
- 1 cupShredded mozzarella cheese
- 0.3 cupMini pepperoni slices
- 1 tablespoonOlive oil
- 0.5 teaspoonDried oregano
- 1 pinchSalt
- 1 pinchBlack pepper
Instructions
- 1
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease an oven-safe baking dish or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
⏱ 5 min - 2
Wash the bell peppers, slice them in half lengthwise, and carefully remove the seeds and white membranes. Arrange the bell pepper halves cut-side up in the prepared baking dish.
⏱ 3 min - 3
Brush the inside of each bell pepper half with olive oil. Sprinkle evenly with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
⏱ 2 min - 4
Spoon approximately 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce into the bottom of each bell pepper half, spreading it lightly.
⏱ 2 min - 5
Evenly distribute the mini pepperoni slices over the sauce in each bell pepper half. If you don't have mini pepperoni, finely chop regular pepperoni slices.
⏱ 3 min - 6
Generously top each pepper half with shredded mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle the dried oregano over the cheese.
⏱ 2 min - 7
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bell peppers are tender-crisp and the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden brown.
⏱ 25 min - 8
Carefully remove the baking dish from the oven. Let the pizza cups cool for a few minutes before serving, as the filling will be very hot.
