Ingredients
- 14.1 ozPaneer
- 2 piecesBell peppers
- 1 mediumRed onion
- 2 cupsBroccoli florets
- 1 tablespoonGinger
- 2 clovesGarlic
- 2 tablespoonsVegetable oil
- 0.5 teaspoonTurmeric powder
- 1 teaspoonCumin powder
- 1 teaspoonGaram masala
- 0.5 teaspoonRed chili powder
- 2 tablespoonsSoy sauce
- 1 tablespoonHoney
- 1 tablespoonLime juice
- 2 tablespoonsFresh cilantro
- 1 teaspoonSesame seeds
Instructions
- 1
Pat the paneer cubes dry with paper towels. In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the paneer cubes and cook, turning occasionally, until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the paneer from the skillet and set aside.
⏱ 7 min - 2
Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the same skillet. Add the sliced bell peppers, red onion, and broccoli florets. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
⏱ 7 min - 3
Add the grated ginger, minced garlic, turmeric powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and red chili powder (if using) to the skillet with the vegetables. Stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant.
⏱ 1 min - 4
Return the cooked paneer to the skillet. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey (or maple syrup), and lime juice. Pour the sauce over the paneer and vegetables. Toss gently to coat everything evenly.
⏱ 2 min - 5
Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly and coat the ingredients. Remove from heat.
⏱ 3 min - 6
Garnish with fresh chopped cilantro and optional sesame seeds. Serve immediately, perhaps with a side of steamed basmati rice or warm naan bread.
